Dreamtime Project - Working differently to create change

....

About Dreamtime

We are a Children & Young People's project working with age groups 7yrs - 18 yrs living within the Dundee area. We work within schools, clubs and communities supporting Children & Young People assessed as having additional support needs, who are or may be at risk of being socially isolated and in need of peer friendships and positive relationships. It is hoped that by raising the awareness of the importance of friendships, ability and inclusion within local schools and communities, that Circles of Friends or Support can be created for the young person and their families. This has been shown to result in growing friendships, natural connections leading to a decrease in social isolation, in turn creating a more inclusive society for everyone.

'Sharing Ordinary Places':- Being socially included which opens doors to new experiences and opportunities.

'Choices and Control':- Making your own decisions on your own terms.
