David has recently taken up a volunteer post with the care commission as a lay assessor, but his
main employment is as a disability Equality trainer for Capability Scotland. This work brings him
into contact with many different organisations including Tayside Police and Care Commission.
David has also been involved in formation of the Standards for Community Engagement, which has been adopted by
Scottish Government. He has also served on various committees in different post including Chairperson of Dundee
Disabled Housing Service, Committee member/Vice chair of Dundee Volunteer Centre, Committee member of Dundee
Patient Advisory Service, Margaret Blackwood Board/Tenant Member and also served on MBHA Audit/quality committee.
David's ideas of relaxing are music, live
or at home, theatre, on and off stage, and
football, supporting one these Glasgow teams.
